The basketmaking course by Jane Wilkinson was very inspiring, packed with practical tips and a great pleasure! We made round baskets with Buff and Black Maul using plaited reeds and heather as well.

On Friday 31st of July I will be at The Country Day @ Kelso Farm in Strathcarron from 11 am - 3pm. Look for the stall with the creels and baskets. You can make a butterfly with willow to take home!
Other events include Spinning and Wool dying, Sheepdog trials, Local Food, Games for the whole family and lots more!

This is one of the baskets I sold at The Armadale Garden & Craft Fair on The Isle of Skye, which was a great success.
A lot of people showed their interest in willow weaving.
